We know the handover from care to adulthood can feel abrupt. One day there are meetings and files; the next, you are expected to manage rent, bills, work, mental health, education, and a hundred small decisions without a map. SORTED is that map — bite-sized, warm, and never patronising.
Who it is for
- Care leavers aged 18–25 figuring out housing, money, headspace, wellbeing, community, and their future & career path — including courses, education and first-job steps.
- Personal Advisers and councils who want to support young people without replacing their independence.
- Anyone who prefers small, no-fail steps over a wall of forms and leaflets.
How it works
- Pick one priority at a time — housing, money, headspace, wellbeing, or My future & career (courses, education, and career paths).
- Each step is a tiny action, not a test. Get it wrong and we will explain, not scold.
- Every completed step grows your Sanctuary: a cottage, garden, or home you build for yourself.
- Rewards and vouchers are council-linked and optional. SORTED never asks for or stores your documents.
- The SOS lifeline is one tap away on every screen, even with no signal.
For councils and commissioners
SORTED is designed to be commissioned by local authorities and partner organisations. The council-branded version keeps your young people on track while you maintain visibility only of the progress you need to support them — with consent always in their hands.
