What we collect
- A PA invite code, to link you to your council's version of SORTED.
- Your progress through tasks, quests, and vouchers.
- Anything you choose to save: notes and mood check-ins. We never collect or store your documents.
- Optional confidence emoji taps after steps — anonymous unless you choose to share them with your PA.
Where it lives
Most of your day-to-day data lives on your device first, so the app works without signal or data. SORTED does not host, upload, or store your identity documents or tenancy paperwork at all — the paperwork checklist is a reminder only, and any photos you take inside a step stay on your phone.
Sharing with your PA or council
You control what is shared. The PA-sharing switch in Postbox → Your account is off by default. When it is off, your personal notes and mood entries stay on your device. When it is on, your PA can see only high-level progress counts and last-active information — never the contents of your notes, answers, or photos.
Vouchers and rewards
Voucher codes are issued by your council from a pre-loaded pool. SORTED does not handle money. We only record that a claim was made and when, so we can enforce the weekly cooldown fairly.
Cookies and analytics
SORTED does not use tracking cookies or advertising identifiers. We do not sell or share your data with third-party advertisers.
What SORTED measures
We count how many people use the app and which steps are completed. We never read your private notes, journal entries, or any documents you keep on your phone. Numbers are grouped together and small groups are hidden so no one can be singled out. Councils only see anonymous totals unless you separately choose to share your progress with your personal adviser.
