Safeguarding

If things feel too much

Your safety matters more than any task or reward. This page explains how to get help quickly and what SORTED can and cannot do in a crisis.

If it is an emergency

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999 now. SORTED is not an emergency service and cannot dispatch help.

The SOS button

The red SOS button is on every screen. Tapping it opens one-tap links to trusted services including 999, NHS 111, Samaritans, Shelter, and SHOUT. These links work even if you have no mobile data, as long as you have signal for calls or texts.

Mind & Wellbeing tools

The breathing tool, routine guides, and mood check-in are here to help you steady yourself. They are not counselling or crisis support. If you are struggling, please contact one of the services in the SOS menu or speak to your GP.

Personal Adviser check-in

You can send a quick "I am okay" or "I need a chat" message to your PA from the home screen. This only works if you have chosen to share with your PA in Postbox → Your account.

Reporting a concern

If you see something harmful inside the app, or you are worried about another user, tell your PA, your council's safeguarding team, or the police. You can also send us a message through our Contact us page.
